Here's the step-by-step-by-step answer for you:

First,
you should know that ALL the personal information you share with us
"on-line" is strictly confidential! If you want to read

Second,
when you use our 'shopping cart" to order your blood test(s), the page that
requires you to enter your personal and credit card information is
encrypted by VeriSign™
and is fully SECURED
from prying eyes. Therefore, no persons other than those here at
Health-Tests
Direct
(who need your information to
process your order) will be able to 'see' your order or to 'know' your
personal information.
Third,
while you are choosing your test(s) online, you have several chances to
change your mind - at anytime - about which test(s) you want to have
performed. You can ADD one or more tests at anytime by clicking on
"Continue Shopping", or you can SUBTRACT one or more tests at anytime by
clicking on the check mark (which eliminates the check mark) in the
"Include" column...or you can cancel your complete order
entirely at anytime by clicking on "Clear Shopping Cart".
We've tried to make
this process as "user-friendly" as possible for you so that you never get
yourself 'stuck' with an order you really did not want to place!
In fact, even after you reach the final page - the one which asks for
your credit card information - you still have an opportunity to delete one
or more of the tests that you initially ordered. Just replace the "1" in
the "Quantity" column with a zero ("0") and click anywhere on the page.
Poof! That specific test is immediately 'cancelled', and the total
amount that will be billed to our credit card is then automatically and
correctly recalculated to the new lower amount due!
Finally, once you have completed all the credit card information and think that you are satisfied with your choice of blood test(s), if you still want to change your mind, just click on the "Cancel" button located immediately below the "Place Your Order" button. Poof! It's like none of it never happened! Your credit card will NOT be billed one cent. In fact, we here at Health-Tests Direct will never know that you even started the order process; we will never know that you were even on that page!
If you actually DO
order from us, what
happens next?
Assuming that you DO
click on the "Place Your Order" button, a "Thank you!" page will appear. It
contains valuable information about your blood test, and you might want to
print it out for your records. Almost immediately, you will also get an
email from us confirming your order, too.
The "Blood Draw
Center"- When do you go to
the "clinic" or "patient service center" (PSC) for your blood draw?
Assuming you have e-mail and a printer attached to your computer, we will
E-MAIL the "authorization" forms to you that you must hand-carry to the
clinic or patient service center ("PSC") to get your blood sample drawn. Print those forms out. If you do
not have a printer, we must then MAIL lab test forms via U.S.
mail, which will normally take 2-5 days to get to you. In either
case your forms will include: (1) an instruction sheet (2) laboratory
requisition form- that authorizes the clinic or other certified blood draw
facility to draw your blood and authorizes the laboratory to perform the
specific tests on your blood that you've asked us to arrange for you, and
(3) collection requirements (when applicable) for the clinic or other blood
draw facility, often called a "patient service center or "PSC".
PLEASE NOTE THAT AFTER YOU "ORDER" YOUR BLOOD TESTS FROM US online, YOU
STILL CANNOT GO TO THE BLOOD DRAW CENTER (CLINIC OR PSC) WITHOUT
TAKING YOUR FORMS WITH YOU. You will need to print out (or wait for the
U.S. mail arrival) and TAKE ALL authorization forms with you to the clinic
or PSC or they will NOT perform the blood draw. You usually do NOT need an
appointment at the clinic or PSC and you will NOT be required to pay them
any money, since you have already paid us (Health-Tests Direct) in advance
for both your blood draw AND for the lab analysis. DO NOT PAY THE
CLINIC ANY ADDITIONAL MONEY! IF THEY "ASK" FOR PAYMENT OF ANY AMOUNT,
INSIST THAT THEY CALL US IMMEDIATELY AT 1-800-456-4647 EXT. 203 SO THAT WE
CAN CONFIRM YOU HAVE ALREADY PAID IN-FULL FOR THEIR SERVICE!
By the way,
unfortunately, some clinics rely heavily on "part-time" people at their
front desk who are not experienced with our special process. So, there may
be an instance where the personnel at the clinic "questions" the validity of
your blood test authorization or other paperwork that is signed by our staff
doctor. If any such instance should occur that might "hold up" or "delay"
the process of your getting your blood drawn quickly and conveniently,
please insist that they call us at Health-Tests
Direct
(1-800-456-4647 ext. 203)
for verification or
clarification. Please be cordial to them, however, please do not permit
the clinic to inconvenience you (or charge you any fee) simply because
someone there at the clinic does not understand your paperwork. Insist that
they call us if they have any questions!
