CMP Test Overview
A comprehensive metabolic panel is a blood test that measures your sugar level, electrolyte and fluid balance, kidney function, and liver function.
This panel measures the blood levels of sodium, potassium, calcium, chloride, carbon dioxide, glucose, blood urea nitrogen, creatinine, total protein, albumin, total bilirubin, alkaline Phosphatase, ALT, AST, BUN/Creatinine Ratio, A/G Ratio, globulin.
Note: Must fast 10-12 hours prior to blood draw.
